GPS Jamming in Southeast

Yep.

And 'Stop Buzzer' requests to ATC do not apply to drones. Only manned aircraft.

And we ALL need practice in 'ATTI' mode anyway, right ? Oh what fun. [emoji15]

Does ATC ask for aircraft registration on request of 'Stop Buzzer’?

I need to brush up on my ATTI flying, it’s been a while.[emoji33]

If the pilot contacts ATC concerning in flight safety issues, ATC is obligated to assist in any way they can. However, the pilot will be required (in this situation) to complete a GPS Anomaly Form to document this issue with the FAA.

So in a nutshell, if you ask for help, ATC will try to keep you out of trouble without hesitation. Great bunch of guys...and gals.

Could someone explain, in novice terms,
what happens if GPS disappears whilst
one is flying? (P4P+) all my flights are
generally straight up to 100m limit to take
photos, then back down again to land.
Will drone go above set 100m limit?
Or further horizontally than set 100m limit?
Will auto RTH function disappear?
Thanks in advance.
Normally, no interest in non-GPS flying...

It would start blowing around in the wind. Basically it would be like flying your $20.00 Eachine.

We had a similar multi-day military exercise in the southwest centered around White Sands Missile Range (near where I live) last summer. GPS is not jammed for the entire time frame specified, just a few periods within it. I flew twice during the exercise period with no GPS issues.
