GoPro3 Case - use phantom one; or gopro one?

Which is better? Why they do supply one with the Phantom?

I use the gopro housing. I have never used the mount that comes with the phantom. I have always felt safer using the gopro housing and to reduce vibration I cut up a piece of moon gel ( http://www.amazon.com/MG4-Moon-Drum-Dam ... B000E6LMR0 ) and put it inside the housing. Works great.
