I'm with len750, I like hearing the props. You can decern a lot of information from the sound of the props in flight. If a motors going bad you may not ever know it unless you can hear the motor at manovering speeds. Can also hear what you may not be able to see. If its fighting some fierce wind and the camera is panned down you not see the ac fluttering but you could hear it. I think there are all kinds of reasons that might make you want to be able to hear the ac in flight. I think an audio feed is a good idea.

I thought it was a joke when I saw the original post yesterday. I am surprised that you actually did it! I assume you had to fly in atti mode. I doubt if the GPS worked with the GoPro sitting on top of it.
