Google's Wing launches a free app in the United States to help drone pilots fly legally

Wing, owned by Google parent company Alphabet, recently launched a free app in the United States to help remote pilots legally fly their drones.

Any reason(s) for hobbyists to prefer it over other choices...?

Just another multi-billion dollar company with their hand in the cookie jar. The good thing is they are a USS since you can get LAANC clearance through them. The bad part is it is Google so your information is sold to countless millions.
