Im using my ipad mini4 with my p3 standard. Iv downloaded my off line maps, but when I fly my drone no maps appear. All I get is a white screen with the red triangle and a home symbol. Cache maps in the background is on.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks all

I'm not positive, but I think that I remember reading here in the forums, that after you download the map area that you want, you have to leave the Go app open. Did you close your Go app after downloading?

I downloaded the map I wanted and saved in google maps without go app open. If I remember correctly thats all I had to do before the last update for the p3s. I haven't flown my drone in a while
Ill have to try while leaving the go app open and see what happens

The latest version of the Go app doesn't use google maps anymore , they have started to use 'HERE' maps which are not very good at all.......:(

After poking around here, thats what I found out is we have to use the HERE maps, which really sucks compared to google maps. Seams like alot of people think the same about HERE maps.
Thanks DJI

Maps are cached using the GO app.
Read this post for a simple reminder of how it's done correctly. :)
