Good screen recorder for iOS?

I do not have a computer. Can I install any apps that allow me to record my iPhone screen? Just stumbled upon this article Best Screen Recorders For iOS Devices | IPhonebyte.com and it says I could install software like AirShou and Vydio. But none of them works for me. Do they really not work or Did I do something wrong while installing them?

I can screen record! Oh and I can initialize screen recording by double tapping on my clock on the status bar. Easy.

I can screen record too...tap the Litchi icon, then tap "screen record" on the drop down menu. Easy.

Also, I read that the VR headset option isn't there in the iOS version. Is that true?

Are you using a Mac OS tablet for the Litchi Screen Record?

I was exploring the Litchi settings and tapped on the Screen Record button and was unable to Stop Recording. I tried everything to turn it off but in desperation, it took a complete shut down of the iPad to get out of Screen Record.

Could you tell me where would the recording file be stored, also what is the format of a screen cap movie, MOV?
Mac OS 10.1, iPad Mini 2.
I have another few issues with Litchi but I'll post in another thread.
