gimbal gone wild

m new to the drone thing and i bought a new drone in may everything was perfect then did the firmware update in june and now my gimbal is all over the place and i want to go back to the old version, i have tried every online fix did all 3 calibration (IMU GIMBAL, COMPASS) in that order as dji said i should do but nothing worked and they want me to send it back to them if all failed but i heard some say to go back to what worked before, my question to you is how do i downgrade to the previous version?

Format sd card, insert firmware 1 lvl older, start remote start bird, wait til green light on gimbal (20-30) min... if u get solid red start over.
