gimbal disconnected

crashed in to a tree today p3a fell about 6feet, battery popped out , nothing appeared to be broken, reinstalled battery, but gimbal was disconnected, checked all connections, nothing amiss, but here is the peculiar part, when shutting down the phantom after pressing the battery button twice, the battery lights goes out,but the phantom does not shut down after 20 seconds later. any help greatly appreciated.

This happens if the phantom loses communication to one of the modules, chances are the ribbon cable is damaged.

From the outside the cable looks undamaged, I will take apart tomorrow and explore further. tks
