General Consensus Flytrex 3G

Hello:

This isn't a review just an idea of what others thoughts are on the Flytrex 3G.
I know 100% its a good product and the manufacturer stands behind it 100%.

My question is, if you do not exceed the limits of your bird is it still a needed safeguard?

I rarely go over 1000 feet, I have 3 phantoms and the PV3 on order.

Ive never had a flyaway and for a while used the tk102b gps tracker and the fmbeacon. (both worked well)

I ended up taking both off because of weight and the extra time it took to set up before each flight.

Im not trying to set distance records but would still like to be safe.

What are others doing. Do you think this is only another cool addon?

I have the original flytrex core and its ok but stopped using it as well.

I use a tracker and a Flytrex 3G. I have flown in areas where the Flytrex could not get a signal and uploaded no data, but a 2G SMS was still possible from my tracker.
