Gear VR and Phantom 4 Pro

I searched the above on this thread and found most of the stuff from 2014 and the Phantom 3. Only 3 posts about the P4 and Gear VR.
Would someone please give me some good references to see what I'll have to do to use the Gear VR and the Phantom 4P?
I got the Gear VR Oculus as a promotion when I bought my Samsung 7S. I am trying to determine if I would be ahead to just by some goggles made for FPV rather than try a work around with the set I have.

You'll need the Litchi app ...it has a VR mode (goggle icon) .....There are more app for VR but I like litchi the best so far.
I have a IOS phone, so not sure if Samsung will work. Litchi app info should tell you that though
