From green to flashing red

Strange thing happened few days ago.
I tried to discharge my battery to 50% since i knew I was not going to fly for few days, so I took it for a spin (actually hover) in my backyard and hoped I could get the sunset.
I had 9-10 sats on my screen went up about 100 feet up and stayed there for few minutes.
All of a sudden back green light started flashing fast all red, looked on the screen still 9 sats solid, no weird behavior on the P2 still was in place, no wobble, nothing just flashing red I panicked and brought it down to eye level and lights went back to normal green for the rest of the hover time.
What was that???!!!

Was your battery fully charged on launch? I will guess not.

Slow flashing red on the back lights means low battery. Fast flashing red lights means critically low battery and auto-land.

In other words, you were likely getting a false read on the battery charge due to the fact that you launched with a battery that was not fully charged.

I propose you consider getting a battery discharger.
