Hi All,
I finished installing the H3-2D gimbal last night and all is working very nicely. One thing I was curious about was the travel of the gimbal - I don't have it in front of me, but if you have the (in my case) phantom 2 powered up, lift it up, tilt it forward or backwards, there is a lot of travel. If you go left as the camera is facing you, the gimbal can freely move further in that direction than it can to the right, because the gopro hits the frame holding the gimbal in place.
Is this correct? Does maximum tilt angle of the aircraft allow the gimbal to reach it's maximum bounds or just slightly below it? I'm concerned about damaging the gimbal. Images to demonstrate what I mean if I'm not being clear or (possibly) dense!
