I am using a Fat Shark Predator setup. When I'm about 150 feet away I start to loose my signal. However when I get little higher it seems to clear up some, but not like I can go 400 or 500 feet away. I bought some new antennas which helped a little but not much. I also tried to fly around the outside of my house from the deck and can only get maybe half way before I loose my video signal, but I still have control of the Phantom. Is this normal.

Thanks for any help

I'm new to the FPV world and I'm still working through some issues with my system, but from what I've read, the stock 100watt transmitters only get a few hundred foot range. Directional amplifiers, more powerful transmitters and cloverleaf antennas are all supposed to help.

On standard set up I got too 265 meters an lost signal , so now ordered some cloverleaf antennas see if it gives a bit more range .

This is with fat shark though , I would search YouTube see if any set up vids on there may help you
