Foamcore FPV holder

Here are some pics of an FPV monitor holder I knocked up this evening. It's all 6mm foamcore, hot glue and velcro.

I've got the same screen I picked up a little cf mount to go on the bar. Made a shroud out of sheet Aluminium, and put the av receiver on the back of the shroud.

I had the screen flat and above the control (like yours) but I find having it up "feels" better, for me anyway

Id prefer to have the radio's antenna on the other side of the foam, this works well for me in my bought monitor holder.

You can buy these carbon fiber mounts for around $20 at a few places online.

Nice setup. Which monitor are you using?

Well, the system seems to work OK. The controller range is a lot longer than the video tx range at the moment!

I did a ground range check, and lost video at about 30-40m, but still had controller link at 150m.

The CF holder looks cool, but how hard is it to remove?
