    From the Beeb is an article and video that shows miniature quadcopter as well as flying devices that were inspired by nature:

    They mention collision avoidance systems, for example.

    And although the video mentions how UAV's will benefit humanity and the environment and can be used to guard against poaching, for example, the video fails to mention the dark side--the poachers, for one, who will surely use UAV's to exploit their illegal activities.

    Where there is light, there is shadow.
