What are the latest news on flying in Turkey? Is it still reserved for locals only or can tourists finally fly their drones as well?

Any way to legally fly a drone as a foreigner during a one week visit?

Thanks!

Thanks, I've seen that, but they've had that same info for a while now, so I was hoping things have changed since.

"Foreign nationality citizens cannot register as a drone pilot in Turkey."

This sounds strange as I'm sure foreign production companies are allowed to use their own crew to film, so there must be some exceptions...

Although I am from the UK I now live in Turkey and have sat the online exam and registered to fly my drone. One of the issues you have is that to apply online you need a Turkish passport or residency number, without this you cannot complete the process.
