This lens hood has made a difference in how well the video looks that I capture now. On a sunny day without the lens hood attached the video simply washes out quick as the quad yaws in the direction of the sun. But when the lens hood on the camera it makes a very noticeable improvement overall. The lens hood I'm using fits perfect. I like for mine to be slid back to the lens/camera line where the two come together. Seems to fly just fine with it installed. The guy that makes it uses a 3D printer, and mine came with a lens cover as well as a gimbal lock. All are super light weight.
The main reason for the thread though is to share about the lens hood. I don't remember seeing anyone making a lens hood that was flexible and fit as the are. I will admit the 1st I opened the package they came in I thought there wasn't much to them. But then after I thought about it I realized they don't need to be.
