Everything from China has come right to my house.
I bought an extra DJI 57 watt battery charger a week ago from the US. It shipped by DHL and was handed off to Canada Post for delivery.
That came an hour ago. No charges there. But it was only an $18 usd item.

Just bought the DJI hard shell back pack on Amazon.ca from a Chinese vendor in Shenzhen (same place as DJI) for $102CND delivered.
It is shipping EMS (1-2weeks)

I've never paid duties on cheaper items either. Its seems like everything above $75-$100 its up to the customs discretion. I only have to assume everything with significant value they charge duties (as if crossing by car). From china I have no clue how it works. I've ordered a couple hundred dollars worth of lipo's before and the sender just marked it as a "gift" an never had to pay.

So when you order from DJI direct, it come from China?
