yeah I'm thinking bad hardware, or some weird interference of some kind though for the life of me I can't figure it out... it's not like I'm buzzing cell towers, police, or fire stations...

Thanks for posting that. Obviously a Phantom model by the look of the prop guards used. Interesting to see no ill affects due to close (VERY close) proximity to a cell tower.
It think it's more an an advert for the "dragonlink" hardware... I just thought it was cool video to share. I still wonder what the safe range is from a cel tower is for phantom operation... I mean there is such a huge proliferation of them now days... what's DJI considered safe distance?
