Firmware update new P4P

Greetings Phantom Pilots Just got my P4P and would like some advice from the more seasoned fliers here. Should I update my firmware now or wait? I have firmware 01.01.0204
It say's to update but was wondering if the version I have is as good or better then the new.
Same question for the controller. I have firmware 01.03.00.00
What is the best way to do the update if it's called for? direct from my ipad or through my computer.
Flew it for the first time the other day, everything looks fine but heck I've never flown one before so what do I know.

I updated mine the day after it was released. No problems whatsoever after several flights. Happy flying.

I would go ahead and update it John. I have had no problems at with current update from a couple of weeks ago.

I updated mine and it works fine, no troubles.

Just got done updating mine, but got the 99% bug. Had a msg to unplugged the cable after the drone restarted, still at 99%. Restarted my rc still there, so I just restarted the drone and all seems ok. Can't fly it right now but will tomorrow. Am I understanding the dji video right that says you need to do all of the batteries also? So you just go through the whole update again with the go4 app?
