I have a FC40 and was wondering about using gambles and the camera that came with quad. Can you do that and do the gimbals need to be wired to quad, or do you just attach to quad and then camera to gimbals. As you can see I do not know anything about gambles, I do know that they will provide a more stable platform for images.

Gimbals will work on the FC40. They vary in price from under $50 to $500. Checkout the videos on youtube as to how to use them as well configuring the transmitter for use. Try to get the lightest weight gimbal that you can find. The FC40 has a total max safe take off weight of about 1200 grams. Anything much over that can cause undue ware on the motors and perhaps the electronics in the body of the quad.
