External power source for p4p RC

Concerning the remote control for P4P , can I hook up an external power source to the RC while it is being used ?
In other words being powered and or recharged while being used. IE pocket battery power source.

I don’t know for certain, but I would imagine that you could hook something like this up to the RC charger, and fly for days:

I just didn't know if you could charge ithe RC and use it at the same time
