Exiting Apps on the pro plus controller

Hi Guys New to this forum (please be gentle) can anyone tell me how to exit apps like twitter and Instagram on the new controller other than turning the thing off. Oh and please feel free if testing this to befriend me on both these social media sites lol Cheers from Liverpool
