Dyeing phantom 3 body

Has anyone dyed the body of their phantom 3 yet? I have seen multiple threads in the general section regarding phantom 1 and 2s being dyed.

As soon as spare shells are available i will be.....actually I'll probably paint it as i did my p2v, i like the flat color more than shiny and the dye gave a slight gloss...

What sort of paint do you use?

I used "Rust-oleum Paint & Primer In One"
flat black....multiple coats....thing is basically scratch proof

I like that idea also, flat black will show up so much better than white in the sky.

Be aware that certain colors include metal in the paint which may cause communication problems if signal can't penetrate the shell....not saying i know gold color will do that but i believe i remember hearing that metallic paint may cause issues

I'm looking at the flat black idea as well... dunno about dying tho... there's always "paint over it" as an option if the dye doesn't come out as desired.
