Does this prop shape technology exist for drones?

Thanks for that very interesting .The prop design seems to be for pusher props which most drones aren't really but I wonder if It would make them much quieter .

There is also something called a Blue Edge blade that is a lot quieter. Seems DJI could use them to keep the annoying buzz down that attracts eyes to them.

I read this a few years ago, it's from 2009.

I would expect that this tech has trickeld down to the public sector by now.

The Blue Edge rotor blade uses piezo electric motors to "flap" the trailing edge of the blade 15-40 times a second. It lowers the decibel level on descent, ascent and actual flying would still be loud.

It also does nothing for the noise of the phantom's motors.
