Does Ph2 Vision wifi work without extender?

Hi,

I am trying to repair an old Phantom 2 Vision I had stored but I am not sure if it used to connect to my mobile without a range extender.

The motors are working fine, the aircraft turns on great.

The only issue is that I dont seem to find the wifi for my phantom. I've tried power cycling many times. The camera is set to WIFI ON, but still nothing. Do I need the range extender or is it supossed to connect?

Try rebinding your extender .
It will fly without the extender but you will not have FPV or any of the info .

Yes, I can see it can fly, but thanks for the comment on no FPV, this is what I wanted to know as I dont have the range extender anymore, might have to see if i can get one cheap.
