Love the new features on the GoPro app for iOS devices. Want to upgrade asap but wondering if anyone has tested it with their Phantom and H3-2D gimbal yet? Any feedback would be helpful. As much as I want the new features, I'm going to wait until someone else trys it first. Anyone already updated and flown?

Hey thanks for the update. I'm sure you mean never while flying, right? DJI has been very clear about that.
I was concerned that because the h3 plugs into the 30 pin, the firmware may have changed some little line of code somewhere that would make the new features work but disable or disrupt the communication between the hero and the gimbal control unit. Then we'd be stuck waiting for DJI to release their new firmware to deal with the hero's new firmware. A vicious cycle I have been caught in with other devices in the past.
