Do ND filters reduce sharpness?

Has anyone experienced a reduction in video sharpness when using ND filters?

I was recently shooting with my P3S and Spark on the same day, filter on my Standard and no filter on my Spark. Both set to 1080. I noticed the Spark video was a lot sharper and had more detail, while the Standard video seemed blurry and lacked the fine details. Is the ND filter on the Standard to blame?

Did you have the video settings the same on both?

Both at 1080p but I can’t confirm whether they were both at the same ISO or frame rate.

Quite possibly.
The ND filter reduces the light reaching the sensor and the camera has to use a slower shutter speed.
Motion + slow shutter speed = blur.

What about the style settings?
Color settings?
