DJI drones: Waypoints 2 tutorial

I am very new & have a P3 Pro and I would really like to be proficient with Waypoints. The Old method you demonstrated is very much what I would like to do. Can I use your method with the P3 I have?
I could not tell from your video if I can with the P3 and App I have?
The version of the App you are using looks similar to what I have Until you started adding Waypoints in the Vidieo View. Is that a mission that you recorded and are adding Waypoints on the Old flight recording??
I am unsure that I am even asking the right questions. Like do I have to have the AC connected and How to preview the flight path in map view.

I must say that I have never used DJI Waypoint. I always use Litchi. I love being able to create the mission from home using the mission hub. With Litchi you can see all obstacles including power lines. I always export the mission to VLM and run it in Google Earth to see if it is what I want and if not, make changes before going to the site.
