the phantom 3 batteries are 15.2v from memory, there are some on ebay along with the charger

The DJI Phantom 3 remote controller uses a 7.4V (2-cell/2S) Lithium-Polymer (LiPo) or Li-ion battery.
The remote battery's operational statistics are:

• Nominal Voltage: 7.4V
• Fully Charged Voltage: Approximately 8.2V to 8.4V
• Maximum Charging Voltage: 17.4V (This is the voltage output of the remote's dedicated wall charger, which steps down to charge the 7.4V pack)

Maybe he was referring to this ?
