DJI App questions about camera settings

I have two questions regarding the Phantom 3 camera settings:

1- How do you enable the AE lock? I used to be able to lock and unlock it. Now it is greyed out unlocked.
2- What is the icon to the left of the J+R icon? Is that ground altitude?

What J+R icon?
The bottom row is H=height, D=distance (from takeoff), VS=vertical speed, HS=horizontal speed and last is distance from the Tx

I want to say that is how much room you have on your SD card...how many pictures you can still take.

The J+R indicates that you are saving photos you take in both JPEG and RAW formats.
