DJI APP FREEZES

Anyone having issues where the live feed from the drone freezes on your iPad. I am and do not have a solution. This is causing my work to take way longer now because I have to land the drone and restart it. Thanks

Sounds like an iPad issue, to me, or maybe a cable. May be time to upgrade:

I would tend to agree with Techcop above. Which iPad and OS are you using?

iPad mini 4 with latest IOS

I've seen some pilots have good success running the Go4 app with that device, and others who have some of the same problems that you encountered.

You see the thread from guitars555, he determined it was an overheating issue with having iPad in sun.

Had it happen today... In Alaska on beach in wind 45-50 degrees no sun, App froze did not disconnect drone from controller. Turned App off then on ... Still nothing. Distance 6451 ft at 271 ft Alt. I did receive a message (Weak Signal adjust antenna and avoid signal block) that flashed at 4309 ft. Walked towards drone... Screen Adjusted to new position resumed control and landed ASAP. Using a iPad Air 2 Iso 11.3.1

Has anyone had any luck fixing this issue? I'm having to rely on Goggles which is frustrating.
