Hey guys apologies if this is a stupid question but I'm totally new to this after I've updated my home point why is my distance telemetry reading saying I'm moving when I'm stationary?

I switched it on earlier today and didn't notice it doing that.

Thanks in advance

Because your position is constantly being reassessed. If your app showed your GPS location, you'd see it changing every second or so even though you're not moving.

It's normal. Don't worry about it.

Thanks - thought I'd done something wrong!

Didn't notice it moving when it was still the last few times I few it - I did think it may have been a dodgey update

Although gps in general is good its not perfect. You can expect minor inconsistencies from time to time. Thats normal.

Mine does it too, makes me nervous about the machine. If I have the unit powered on and I'm at my desk, it drifts around on the map by as much as 50ft.

I haven't experienced and ill effects from this during flight that I am.aware of though.
