Dead Battery Upon Order

I ordered a refurbished P3 from DJI, just got it 3 days ago as I read through everything, I plugged the battery in. It lit at first, and because the instructions said to not leave the battery charging unattended, I unplugged it, and when I came home went to re-plug it. It didn't light up or anything. I tried several other methods. Is this a dead battery and what are my options?

Same happened to me... just return to your retailer or DJI fir free replacement
