Controller Battery

Hi All
Working with a Phantom 3 unit
Been having issues when trying to charge the controller. When it's first plugged in, the first Led light will blink as though it is taking charge but after a short while it stops altogether and no light or lights are blinking. As you can expect, when I try to power the controller up, it starts but shuts down after a few seconds.
Any wanna tell me to toss the whole controller unit b/c replacing the battery would be as much as a different control unit?

Just replace the battery. That's part of flying, having to tinker with everything. I'd check around like a battery plus store.

I would suggest checking with @Droneted on what battery to get and how to replace it. He is a very knowledgeable guy.

The battery is quite standard on Phantom remotes avail @ Amazon eBay
DJI replaces at fair price, incl frt, if you have time. Start a repair order they send ship labels.
