Company Uses Drone for Home Security

Who's flying it and who has los control. I doubt this will make with current laws.

Good point Monte.

With regards to [the current US laws], the CEO says:
Since a homeowner will use the drone for non-business purposes, Pachikov doesn't think those policies will apply."

"Famous last words"

Amazon will push this thru and the rest will follow. (my 2 cents)

Saw this on the news here in California...Wait I clicked on your link, and it led me to Dominos' prototype delivery system. NIce...

Plus, the company 'flying' the drone will undoubtedly have to have some type of liability insurance. Rules concerning VLOS and FPV will impact the feasibility of this idea.

Time will tell.

Definitely a cool idea... but fixed cameras around the house will serve just as good.

If they can make it lighter that 0.55 pounds the FAA is not concerned. Great technical challenge!
