Charging Batteries

I am new to this forum. I am sure this has been answered, but I haven' t been able to locate the answer. What is the best way to store batteries? Fully charged or drained? Thanks in advance.

If you are going to store them for a long period of time leave them at 50% charge, a week between flights is not considered a long time so its ok to leave fully charged,
