There is a app you can use called shou, search you tube for iPad screen recorder inspire and it's the top one that comes up. Tells you all how to do it.

Useful video but he made an important boo boo. When in waypoint mode there is a third option for camera control that he did not explore called FREE. When chosen, the quad will fly the route as planned, and the camera can be yawed as required 360 deg while it flys from waypoint to waypoint. To me, thus makes all the difference in the usefulness of the waypoint function.
