I've never crashed the drone. I've tried reinstalling the app, different batteries, restarted the drone. The problem is I have no image on my galaxy note 5 from the camera. Also, the camera dji menu is shaded out and I can't access it whatsoever. I can control the gimble, just no image, and this is with the drone right next to the remote...

Try a new USB cable, many times that will fix this problem.
Welcome to PhantomPilots from Dayton Ohio! Fly safe and have fun!

Oops, I'm sorry I missed that it was a Standard, sorry about that. Have you tried forgetting the WiFi network and trying to reconnect?

Give that a shot, also try re-linking the RC, you can find a video here:

Are you turning on the RC first, then connecting the phone to the WiFi, then starting the DJI GO app, then turning on the drone? If the drone is turned on before you are fully connected on the RC side this can happen too.

As @ryantrax pointed out, it sounds like your Galaxy isn't connected to the Phantom's wi-fi network. I'm not clear from your post if you actually confirmed what wi-fi network your Phantom is connected to.

The Galaxy is connected to the Phantom's wi-fi network but no image. Hmmm. I'd like to power up my P3S and sort this out, but I'm traveling this week with my P4 and my P3S is at home. Sorry. There are other pilots here that can help.

Just a thought. On the P3S, there is a tiny (and I mean tiny) little LED light on the front of the gimbal. If the gimbal/camera is connected and functioning, that little light will be green. If something is wrong, it will be red. Take a look and tell us if it's green or red.

This is what my screen looks like. You can see the camera menu is completely shaded out and non accessible.

that icon block to the left of the battery block is the camera signal. I am having similar problems. If there is no HD in that block there is no image signal. That is why the camera functions are grayed out. Can't set the camera if it isn't connected. Mine comes and goes. Right now it looks like it is permanently gone, then it came back. Sometimes it starts and stops with a poor image signal message. This is when I am sitting next to it, not flying. It does it when I am flying also. Driving me crazy. Also, when I hit that block it was opening a transmission menu with none of the icons on the left blue. Now all it does is open the wifi login menu, with that icon blue, to change name or PW. I hit apply and nothing happens. Tried 3 phones and a tablet. It seems to do the same thing on all of them and one is an approved device, the other 3 are not.
