I'm all geared to bin the roots and calibrate a hundred things... But figure I'll have some questions along the way.
First, before I do anything, I snuck a peek in the box on the train home and the gimble lock plastic was quite definitely not locked in.
I'm sure it's fine and it's certainly not visually broken (although I'm no expert). Is there anything I should check on it before I start pulling things apart and doing all the prep that should be done. I'm guessing the gimble protector is often dislodged though.
