Buy from B&H Photo or DJI direct

This is my first Phantom (but not first RC craft) and I bought from DJI last night. After reading through this thread I feel like I made a mistake and should of ordered from Amazon or BH. Should I cancel and risk loosing my place in the pre order line or should I just wait?

Just wait it out. Buying direct isn't a bad thing, IMO.

Apparently you haven't had to deal with DJI service. Six weeks is the norm from them.

Incorrect. I purchased my P2 direct from them. About a month after I had it I found it had the wrong ESC's. They agreed and picked it up, replaced them and shipped it back N/C. 3 weeks door to door.

YMMV.

DJI Service seemed to improve through last year, I think if it had to be returned for warranty issues it would be the closest approved place so (here) either in the UK or maybe Germany.
It would still usually make sense to buy from a local dealer if one is within a reasonable distance.
