Just letting anyone interested know......
I bought this Boscam setup for my P1.
Boscam 32Ch 5.8G 600mw 5km Wireless AV Transmitter TS832 Receiver RC832 for FPV
It was $52.00 delivered.
I have personally gone out to 1000ft horizontally and still got very clear reception.
Currently I'm using a cheap set of the mushroom Circular Polarized antennas.
I don't plan to go much beyond that ever. 1000ft is plenty for my P1. The P3P maybe a little further.
If you wanted to take this further I'm sure you could. With the right antennas maybe up to 2000-3000ft out. Especially with directional antennas. These are omnidirectional.
One thing I have seen is that if you fly near a cell tower or any signal relay towers, they interfere with the video signal.
But if you have a P1 and want very good FPV for very little dough, I can recommend this.
VERY satisfied with this setup.
