Military grade mini spy cam looks like a £20 toy but 20 min flight time, RTH and I bet a bloody good image too! At 10cm by 2.5cm (4in by 1in) and weighing 16g (0.6oz).... Phantoms of the future will be so fun!
One of two things will happen in the UK in the next few years.
Either UAVs will be de-regulated and people will be allowed to fly them commercially without a license
Or, they will be banned or regulated out of existence for the hobby flier.
I predict a tightening of the rules to make it illegal to fly in any area where you don't have the permission of the land owner.
Managed to get a positive story out of this in an interview yesterday on BBC Radio Lincolnshire. Listen in at the link below (available until 12/11/13.)

Interesting and positive reporting. Also intelligent and not rushed like so many radio interviews. Did you do your training course on the Phantom or a Hexacopter? Really enjoyed your Alford Windmill film. Nice touches including the sails going pass the window from inside. What camera would you go for with the Hexacopter? The Panasonic GH3 is often recommeded. And I believe the BBC used the earlier GH2 on their Hexacopter for that report. Nice camera which I use often.
