Battery Charger issues

Hey (kind of) newbie here. I've been using my P1 for a few months with no issues. But the other day when I charged my battery, instead of the charge status light turning to a solid green when it's at a full charge it starts blinking red and green like it's discharging. Then after a couple minutes the 1S light goes out and the status light keeps blinking red and green, it never goes to solid green. The battery still work in the phantom (though I do not know to what degree it's charged). Is this even a problem? I have the stock battery and balance charger. Thanks to anyone who replies!
