Battery charger as general purpose power supply

Can a P2V+ battery charger be repurposed to power a 12vdc 2-5 A travel cooler? Or other 12 vdc items?

Well im not sure........ But if it was for my drones Very Important flight battery....It far to Important to me to use for anything else....id search e-bay or Amazon for a proper power supply...Good Luck dgd3.

the long explanation...the charger supplies constant current to the battery until it reaches a set voltage, then maintains that constant voltage until it reaches a minimum current.
This could really screw up things you're trying to power from it.

You are correct that CC/CV is the proper LiPo charge profile.
However the P2’s battery balancing and other functions are handled by the ‘smart’ circuitry located in the battery pack.
As such the ‘charger’ is just a power supply.

Exactly .... they are not true Lipo chargers.
