Thanks! Luckily I was working with the British Dam Society at the time creating some content for them so all the permissions were gained that way. That and keeping to the rules set by the CAA

Some lovely shots there.

I guess you knew that Derwent was one of the reservoirs used to practice the "Dambusters" raid? Just over the hill to the east (Sheffield) side, there's Dale Dyke reservoir. The story of its collapse in 1864 gave Barnes Wallis the idea that breaking a dam could create devastation miles down stream.
