I don’t know if it will teach people to fly legally or just pay the fine when you first get it. Going to court was definitely a bad idea.

I reckon the old Can I Fly There is better.
Luckily I didn't uninstall it when the new one came out

Yeah, can't say there's sympathy here. Rules are clear, he's broken them. The funny ones are pilots who release videos flying over packs at a wedding and CASA catch them out and fine them. Priceless.

Not to mention the Aussie backpackers in Iran who bypass Go and straight to jail! Very sad but the ultimate reminder that you need to follow the rules.

If the FAA started checking out videos on this forum I wonder how many PIC’s 107/Hobbyists would be fined. We won’t snitch on anyone but when someone gets busted we say “ He/she deserved it! In the end everyone suffers the consequences. Fly Safe and don’t make it harder for the ones who obey regulations “like it or not”. And for the ones who stay quite man up and own it!
