Can any of u experienced RC guys who know about brush less motors tell me if its OK to run them without the props on them? Like for when I want to drain a battery. I am talking indoors on my work bench. Will this cause any damage at all.

I have been doing it for a while now with no adverse effects. I don't rev them too hard. No guru though!
