I have a shoot for a car club on Saturday- they want me to fly above there event and take photos of the set up for future reference- 8am not to many people around- It is across the street from a small airport- the have permission for me to do it from the airport- my ? is will it start up being in the no fly zone and if not is there a way to over ride the lock out. Thanks

There is no way to override the NFZ but you can check in the pilot app if it is red circled

It won't start up if it can acquire a GPS lock in a NFZ.

@gjoseph, put a tinfoil hat on it and be prepared to fly ATTI.
