Focus Assistant will cause the screen to zoom in for a few seconds when you touch it to force an autofocus. Manual Focus will allow a slider bar to appear on the screen so that you can do totally manual adjustments.
The Manual and Auto Focus Assistant feature worked for me when I first fired the P4P up for testing, then quit working. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the GO 4 app, but the Focus Assistants will not work. Not much of a problem right now, since I have to return the Phantom 4 Pro for a battery compartment issue. This run of Phantoms seems to have an extra share of out-of-the-box issues.
